ATLAS NO. 002 ZANASYOGALATE STUDIO

The architecture of awareness.

Three plates — the body, the spine and the mind. Hover any muscle to name it, select a point to follow its pathways, and watch the figure breathe in a slow four-in, six-out rhythm.

Five places where breath, structure and attention meet.

Lower ribs · Lumbar attachments

Breathing is movement

The diaphragm is a dome of muscle beneath the lungs. As you inhale it descends and the lower ribs widen; as you exhale it rises again. Noticing this rhythm can help you sense effort and keep a steadier pace.

NoticeRest a hand on your lower ribs and feel them widen sideways as you breathe in.
